CDL Compare (cdlcompare.com) is operated by AI Machine Solutions LLC("we," "us," or "CDL Compare"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Information we collect

• Driver registrations: name, email, phone number, experience level, preferred location, and any message you include when you register interest with a school, carrier, or as general interest.
• Listing requests: company name, website, your name, and your contact email, if you ask us to add a school or carrier to the site.
• Report subscriptions: your email and organization, if you sign up for the State of CDL Driver Pay report.
• Feedback: whatever you submit through the feedback widget, plus your email if you choose to provide it.
• Basic technical data: our hosting provider may log standard information such as IP address and browser type for security and performance purposes.

How we use it

• If you register interest with a specific school or carrier, we share your registration with that school or carrier so they can contact you.
• If you register "general interest" (open to any school), your information is visible to every school and carrier using our applicant portal — that's the whole point of that option, and it's clearly labeled as such at signup.
• We use listing-request and feedback submissions internally to operate and improve the site.
• We use report-subscriber emails to send the report and occasional related updates.
• We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties.

Service providers

We use third-party providers to run the site: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Resend (email delivery), and Stripe (payment processing for paid school/carrier plans). These providers process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide the service.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the site. You can request deletion of your data at any time — see contact info below.

Cookies

We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies set are limited to what's needed for the site to function.
